N4800Eco е мултимедийно NAS устройство с Intel Atom процесор за тиха работа без вентилатор и капацитет от 16 ТБ. Освен традиционните storage функции, този модел предлага и още много допълнителни възможности - пести до 20% от енергията изразходвана от предишните модели, разполага с HDMI / VGA изходи, така че може да се свърже директно с компютърен монитор или HD дисплей.
Освен това налични са два USB 3.0 супербързи порта за трансфер на данни, отлични средства за архивиране на данни и отдалечен достъп през Интернет, вкл. със смартфони.
Може да изпълнява ролята на web/ftp сървър, медиа плейър и дори може да му се инсталира ТВ тунер.
Устройството притежава сертификати за съвместимост с виртуализационните платформи на VMware и Citrix.
